What Is A CTA?
A CTA is a “Call to Action.” It is a call, on your part, for your customers, readers, or followers to take action – to do something.
You may create a CTA on your website, your blog, on social media, or in a newsletter.
These calls may cover anything from asking your customers to buy a certain product, sign up for a mailing list, download content, contact an organization or person, share a story, follow you on social media . . . the list can go on and on.
The key to your CTA is inspiring people to actually take action!
As you create your CTA think about how you design it. Eye-catching and eye-pleasing buttons, graphics, or pictures will get people motivated.
Also, think about the language you use in your CTA. Use action words and make sure your customers see the value in taking action. Make it personal to them!
